Several attempts have been made by philosophers to help understand the questions arising from the two ideologies. In order to clearly understand the nature of conflict, one needs to completely understand these two theories. “Evolution asserts the argument that live originated from a natural process” (Sober, 2012).Evolutionists belief is that this process was scientific and that organisms in the past experienced a gradual change in their biological and genetic composition which saw a mass extinction of the original species and new species evolved. Evolution theory can be scientifically tested by observations as well as application of scientific methods to prove its arguments. This theory is “anchored on fossil evidence which accumulated over the earth`s geological history” (Scott, 2005). The emergence of bacteria that are resistant to antibodies is itself a contemporary example of what transpired during evolution process-how life got adapted to changes in environment.
