Sample Paper

The ‘Active Voice’ is a direct expression of thought in a sentence. It is the more frequently used and preferred form of expression in speech and in writing. The main difference between the Active Voice and the Passive Voice is that, whereas the Active Voice is a direct expression, the Passive Voice is an indirect expression of ideas, thoughts, or propositions. The difference between the two is that in the Active Voice, the subject performs the action, where as in the Passive Voice, the subject receives the action.

The Active Voice can be identified by observing the relationship between the subject and the verb in a sentence. As stated, the subject in the sentence performs the action. An example in a sentence would be, he hammered the nail was into the plank of wood. In this sentence, the subject is executing the verb.

The Passive Voice can be identified through rearrangement of the sentence order to express the same meaning. As defined, the subject then becomes the recipient of the action, as opposed to performing the action. Using the same sentence as above, Passive Voice would be, the nail was hammered into the plank of wood by him. In this instance, the nail is the subject of the sentence and the action is being executed upon it.

The value in using the Active Voice is that, it is direct, simple, and clear, whereas the Passive Voice is indirect and its meaning may not always be clear, as it can be cluttered by wordiness in its expression. Furthermore, fewer words are required when expressing the Active Voice which makes the extraction of meaning clear from the onset.

Insta Research is a very helpful place to buy a resume in the first place. I gave them my details and did not expect that they would come up with such an exclusive design. My personality is professionally enhanced through the resume made by them. I am thankful for the depth of my heart as I would have never approached that level of excellence in my resume. Wish you good luck ahead and again thank you!
