Provide examples of real-world transport planning problems and state-of-art practitioner approaches to addressing often-encountered transport analysis problems.

By the end of this course students will be able to:

2. Conduct a statistical analysis using real data on a transport-related topic and write a concise description of the main findings to communicate to a non-technical audience;

3. Develop transport planning and impact analysis scenarios, present major assumptions and write a concise description of the main findings;

4. Conduct a cost-benefit analysis and present understanding concepts relating to life-cycle analysis, estimation of salvage values, discounting and other related concepts.
