Write a brief report (one page, single-spaced) that includes your responses to the bullet points below. Write in complete sentences – spelling and grammar do count (see grading rubric below).
-Introduction: In a brief paragraph, state the purpose of the lab and the process of collecting data. 
-Station 1 Cranial Hypotheses: From your lab prep, state your hypothesis concerning which traits you would use to differentiate the skulls of a nonhuman primate (modern chimpanzee), A. afarensis, and early Homo. Explain why you chose these distinguishing traits and discuss the basis for this choice (think environmental or adaptive factors) in one paragraph. 
-Station 1 Cranial Hypotheses Testing: In the next paragraph, discuss what you found when you tested your hypotheses (i.e., collected data from the specimens). Were you able to differentiate the specimens based on your hypotheses? Does the data you collected support or refute your hypotheses? Were certain traits more useful to investigate than others?
