This article highlights the likely economic costs of high immigration that’s been accounted since the late 1980’s in the U.S. of interest is the effect of mass immigration especially among the low-skills immigrants. Even though, the undocumented may pay taxes, the likely costs offering services to them may outweigh their economic benefits. The author also points out that depressing wages is one of the issues that affect workers in the blue-collar jobs, and the reduced wages in turn increase the risk of poverty for legal immigrants and native born Americans.
