YOUR MAIN GOAL: Many nations in the Middle East experience not only the influence of their official governments, but also of ideas, ideologies, and relationships that transcend their geographic boundaries and formal structures. In this module/week, you reviewed the governments of Turkey and Saudi Arabia. How do their legal/governmental systems compare to each other? How do you think the concepts of tribalism and transnationalism apply to or affect these 2 nations?
