Undertake the assignment using data for your chosen country covering the period 1950 to the most recent (as available).

Use downloaded decennial mortality data by quinquennial age groups (0,1-4,5-9,110+) for the total population. Usingthe most recent data as the standard, and any calculations you wish to perform, undertake a descriptive and interpretative analysis of mortality including, but not limited to, the following:

The changing age distribution of observed deaths
The changing age pattern of mortality
A comparison of the crude death rate and the (directly) standardised death rate

Use downloaded sex-specific deaths and population data by quinquennial age groups (0,1-4,5-9,110+) for the 1950s (as available) and the most recent period (as available), and any other basic data you may require from HMD. Undertake your own calculationsto provide graphical evidence toanswer the following questions:

How has the female lowest age-specific death rate changed since the 1950s?
