In this task you are critically reviewing two research papers that you include in your annotated bibliography.

The papers should be addressing similar areas to allow you to compare and contrast  the presentation of the two pieces of work.

Requirements:

Select 2 articles from your current bibliography on your topic. In critiquing these two papers you will  compare and contrast each on the following points: 

1. Identification of research problem.
2. Review of literature.
3. Specifying purpose of the researchi.
4. Design selection – methodology adopted, data collection procedures adopted.
5. Analysis of data and reporting of results.
Interpretation of research.

The resource listed below provides guidance regarding critically reading research articles, how to  identify the points listed above and report your findings.

In critiquing the papers you need to demonstrate: 

1. Your ability to analyse the research as reported in the papers: your ability to explore the  content and how effectively you can summarise the findings;
2. Your ability to identify the nature of the research: identification of research questions, how  the problem was defined through the literature, innovation identified through results, and  the ability of the authors of the paper to extend their results to a generalise situation;
3. Your ability to prepare a succinct presentation accurately reflecting the content of the  paper;
4. The quality of your written submission.

Submission:

Prepare your report of approximately 1000 words using WORD. Submit this document in  CloudDeakin, in the dropbox called “Critical Analysis Report” before the due dateii.
