The current draft of the paper discusses 7 issues: (1) signage; (2) outside lighting of trails and streets used commonly by bikers; (3) methods of counting bikers; (4) cost-minimization; (5) predicting future – this is vague and would need more specifics; (6) determinants of bike use; and (7) whether bikers follow traffic rules.

I would like to focus on 4 main issues only. You probably can keep much or most of the material I have, if you reorganize it to be part of the discussion of the 3 or 4 main issues. Your thesis would identify 4 key issues and how they fit the overall of the paper.

I would like my thesis statement to be this:

This paper reviews the role of signage in increasing bicycle use on a university campus. The paper will argue that (1) using signage to increase biking is consistent with known determinants of bike use; (2) signage should increase adherence of bikers to traffic rules; (3) improving street lighting should be part of signage interventions, and (4) it is possible to evaluate the effects of signage and lighting by assessing number of bikers and adherence to traffic rules.

Follow how I re-wrote the thesis, then you would have 4 parts to the body of the paper that discuss the 4 parts of the thesis. Then a conclusion.

RESEARCH STUDY GUIDELINES:

MOST IMPORTANT there are research studies attached you may omit or add new ones buy you need to SHOW and not tell. you need to physically describe it. For example, traffic light will make people feel safer to ride a bike because they are not riding their bikes straight into the street along with cars. A study called______ is about traffic lights in California and it had ___ participants and they measured the effective of the traffic light specific for bikers by doing _____ and the results shows that traffic light is effective.
the previous writer didn’t follow this format I prefer it.

Also it would be beneficial to INCLUDE a statistic if you can.
