Knowing how to write a strategic plan is an invaluable skill for both managers and entrepreneurs. In doing that, students will be able to develop an in-depth understanding of a chosen organization’s situation and the challenges it needs to overcome to become or remain competitive. Students will also learn to use data and arguments to support a proposed strategy to the chosen organization and to work with incomplete information. By working in pairs/groups of 3, students will also be able to experience the collective nature of strategy-making, as well as the benefits and challenges of combining different perspectives and styles into a strategic plan.
