1. WHAT PROCESS DO YOU UNDERTAKE IN ORDER TO FORM A GROUP OR TEAM?

We set goals and look at what kind of skills and strengths we need. Once we realise what capabilities and skills people have, it is much easier to form a team. For example, punctuality and leadership skills which can aid in electing a chairperson if necessary.

1. HOW HAVE YOU DEVELOPED TEAM COHESION?

The biggest team are the bloggers. In order to form team cohesion, it is important that everyone is on the same page. No overlapping and repetition. Everyone shares the same goal essentially. Although writers do not know each other personally, they may comment on each others articles and form professional working relationships. They can then bounce ideas off each other be it through social networks or email.

With regards to the business we both make the decisions. However, employees are given freedom of flexibility and can work out their own timings. Moreover, bloggers can also come up with their own content and are given full creative license.

The overall aim of group work is to ensure that you end up with a positive result. Make sure everyone understands what is going on as well as eradicate any conflict of interest.

Intrinsic incentives; all about making the employee feel at ease while recognising and encouraging their talents. This would raise self esteem and in turn, productivity. We take the personal lives and needs of employees into consideration so they can complete projects more efficiently and to a high standard. For example, school schedules are subject to fluctuate especially during the winter and summer due to exams, therefore they can switch around deadlines to accommodate younger writers. Moreover, holidays and religious festivals often prevent people from working so timetables can be altered. Happiness is important along with freedom. Monetary incentives also tend to act as a driving factor that contributes towards productivity.

It depends on the type of feedback. Negative feedback can affect your self esteem and lower productivity. For example, your superior could scrap a particular idea or piece of work you have composed which can ultimately lead you to doubt your abilities.  Positive feedback can encourage you to feel better about yourself be it from your boss or colleagues. It can motivate you to work harder and build a respected image within the company.
