Unit aims

To be an effective manager in health and social care requires a need to supervise and manage provision and lead and support others. This unit will develop student’s knowledge, skills and understanding of the role of a manager in managing provision and practice in health and social care in ways that continually improve what is delivered. This unit is suitable for those working or intending to work in healthcare, social care, children’s services and related areas.
