Southern states of America embraced slavery while the northern states embraced Christianity and abolishment of the slavery (Jordan, 1974). This created conflict of interest within the American states. Northern America developed economically faster than the southern America. This made Northern America gain significant power over the southern states leading to conflicts. Racism (Jordan, 1974) has been an issue in America. It identifies with the prejudices in the race of one community to the other communities. This created eminent hatred resulting to conflicts. There have been various civil wars in America identifying with flour riot, crisis of the south, great riots, bread riot in savanna and the great strikes (Zinn, 2004). These are but a few of the many conflicts in America.
