Review on the Album “Back to the Woods” Name Institution of Affiliation Date Introduction Back to the woods is the work of Angel Haze. Haze was not herself before this album, hence, composed it as a sign that she is back to where she was previously. She has used the music to parse that she is back to herself, a state with no fear or problems. She terms it as woods, hence, the term ‘back to the woods’. Haze has used the music to express the emotional struggles she went through after her last album. Beyond the music, Haze went through personal issues that had a great impact on her life. The struggles include depression, suicide, physical and sexual abuse. For example, her relationship with Ireland Baldwin broke. She also had to see a psychologist to help her solve health problems.
